Cycling enthusiasts beware – you do not have to pedal yourself all the time! Numerous cycling events in and around Kitzbühel offer you the opportunity to enjoy your vacation in full cycling fever, without having to be active yourself.
Watch the pros, enjoy the atmosphere among fans, comfortably complete the day on the sun terrace with a glass of wine. Simply wonderful.
- Tour of Austria – with its unique, fane-lined finish (after a more than 100km-stage) at the Kitzbüheler Horn. Celebrate the finest climber of the tour who complete the final climb in about 30 min. The tour continues with a start in the center of town the next day.
- KitzAlpBike Festival – one of the most spectacular mount bike events, hosted in the Brixental. Mountain bikers will find extraordinary challenges: whether it is sprint-competitions, hill-climbing or a marathon race.
- Tristkogel Challenge – a successful combination of orienteering, mountain biking and mountain run. Each team is made up of two competitors. Do not miss the opening competition in the center of Kitzbühel!
- Horn-Cycling Race – following the Tour of Austria’s trails, Kitzsport organizes another cycling race to the summit of the Kitzbüheler Horn that has amateurs compete against national and international professionals all the same.
- Mountain Bike Race up the Hahnenkamm. on 15 August – 9.20 km, 900 m elevation. Spectacular without fail. Hundreds of mountain bikers struggling up the Hahnenkamm, hoping to finish first.
- World Cycling Cup in St. Johann in Tirol – Street cycling races with international competitors in various age classes.
