Frequently asked questions

1. Check in - Check out

Check-in from 14.00 h on (earlier check-in possible upon availability)

Check-out until 11.00 h (late check-out is subject to a surcharge and only available by arrangement with the reception)

2. HOW LONG IS THE RECEPTION OPEN?

Reception is available 24/7. However, if you are checking out before 7.00 in the morning, please settle your hotel bill before 22.00 the previous night.

3. HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT FOR THE STAY?

The deposit is 30% of the total amount (payable by bank transfer or credit card: Visa, Mastercard or Diners Club).

This is due at the time of booking or not later than 2 months before arrival.

4. IS A PASSPORT OR AN IDENTITY CARD REQUIRED?

Yes. Please have your passport or your identity card ready for check-in.

5. WHERE IS THE PARKING AREA?

Our parking area is located directly behind the hotel. Navigation system: Muehlengasse 6, 6370 Kitzbühel, Austria (Please be aware: there also is another Muehlengasse located in Aurach bei Kitzbühel)

Garage spaces (limited number of spaces) are available by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Garage space incurs a charge of Euro 18,00 per day.

6. OPENING HOURS – SPA AREA
  • Swimming pool – 7.00 until 20.00 h
  • SUMMER – Sauna from 15.00 until 20.00 h, on request only
  • WINTER – sauna is opened daily from 15.00 until 20.00
7. OPENING HOURS – RESTAURANTS
  • Breakfast – 7.00 until 10.00 h for hotel guests
  • Half board dinner – 19.00 until 20.30 h for hotel guests
  • Please tell us at breakfast if you don’t want to eat dinner, otherwise we are not able to give you a deduction.
  • Our à la Carte Restaurants Goldene Gams und Rosshimmel are opened from 9.00 until 23.00 h (in summer) and from 9.00 until 24.00 h (in winter).
8. CAN SKI AND LIFT TICKETS BE PURCHASED AT THE HOTEL?

Yes, ski passes can be purchased at the reception for the same prices as at the ticket offices. Use the service and save yourself standing in line for the lift tickets.

9. WHERE IS THE HOTEL LOCATED?

The hotel is located directly in the center of Kitzbühel.

10. IS IT ALLOWED TO SMOKE IN THE HOTEL?

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the hotel.

You may smoke on the terrace or on your balcony (not all rooms have a balcony).

11. HOW DOES THE WIFI WORK?

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel (except for the pool and sauna area and the private garden).

Network: Tiefenbrunner Hotspot. Accept the terms and conditions and click login.

12. ARE YOU OFFERING AIRPORT TRANSFERS?

We offer airport transfers either with our hotel-minibus (max 5 persons) or by third-party shuttle service; prices on request.

13. HOW CAN I REACH SKI-LIFTS?

The 2 ski lifts (Hahnenkamm and Kitzbüheler Horn) can be reached within a seven-minute walk. A ski bus stops directly behind the hotel and can be used for free with a ski pass.

14. IS THERE A LUGGAGE STORAGE?

Yes, there is a possibility for storing your luggage. Please ask reception.

15. DOES THE HOTEL PROVIDE LAUNDRY SERVICE?

No, directly in-house. However, we can get your clothes to an external laundry from Monday to Friday. Laundry fees can be paid via your room bill. Duration approx. 24 to 30 hours.

You have also the possibility of bringing your clothes to a self-service laundry called “Kitzwash” which is open from 7.00 until 22.00 h.

16. DOES THE HOTEL OFFER AN IRONING SERVICE?

Yes. We can iron your clothes for a charge of Euro 2,50 per piece.

17. ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

You are welcome to bring your dog to the hotel. We charge Euro 20,00 to 28,00 per dog per day. Due to hygienic reasons dogs are not allowed in either the dining room, the spa area or the private garden area.
