„Griaß Enk“ – I am Markus Obermoser, nature lover and passionate host. Hospitality is in my blood – the Tiefenbrunner has been in my family for nine generations, for more than 200 years.
Old and dusty? That is hardly what we are. We build on the experience of the older generations and yet live a curious openness to innovative ideas and unique concepts.
At the same time rooted in tradition and creatively innovative, aware what life is all about. And at the same time an awareness for regionality, a love of international urban chic, lifestyle and luxurious high-end indulgence. That is my very personal Tiefenbrunner. That is the hotel where I welcome you with open arms.

Markus runs the hotel as the fun-loving “Tiafinga” – always ready for a joke and a new, creative idea in his head.
Mama Maria Brunner-Mitterer and her husband Helmut Mitterer are on hand with advice and support – for big decisions and small details.
Brother Helmuth is always happy to take care of the guests’ medical needs at his medical practice right next to the hotel.
Sister Theresa loves and lives interior design and actively helps to shape the Tiefenbrunner – the Goldene Gams and the hotel restaurant bear her signature.

In the early morning Quintino Sergi & his team already are fully energized to offer you not just an extensive and varied breakfast buffet, but, above all, the perfect service. Tea & coffee at the table in seconds.
The buffet always fresh and completely replenished like magic. The entire restaurant inviting and decorated with love.
Whether at the breakfast buffet in the morning or at the gourmet dinner in the evening. Always with a smile, service full of pleasure and with one or two personal tips for the guests. Simply there for you. Any time.
Head chef Daniel Moser
Regional & seasonal, that is how Daniel & the kitchen crew cook for the guests of the Tiefenbrunner. Daniel Moser who has been a member of the Tiefenbrunner team for many years has made a name for himself as a chef in Kitzbühel – whether it is traditional Tyrolean specialties or internal high-end cuisine, he calls both worlds home. He always manages to inspire guests with creative and innovative menus.
What is driving him? The motivation to offer his guests a unique culinary experience. The highest standards are what chef Daniel demands and offers.
À la Carte Restaurant manager Urska
Here, Markus Obermoser is on the job. He personally takes care of the guests’ well-being in the Goldene Gams and the Rosshimmel, Tiefenbrunner’s à la carte restaurants. As a wine lover, he is guaranteed to find the perfect wine pairing; as an epicurean with an eye for details, he ensures the all-around perfect restaurant visit of his guests; as “Tiafinga”, he exudes his charm and is at least as popular with locals as he is with the many national and international guests.
And the team? According to Markus, the entire undertaking stands and falls with them. Urska & her colleagues provide a unique feel-good ambience. They always have the proper recommendation at the ready and are on hand for their guests from morning to night. Simply unique.
As executive housekeeper, Adrienn is responsible for the perfect-glamorous feel-good ambience of the entire Tiefenbrunner. With your dedicated team, many of them long-time employees, she makes the house shine in tidiness and splendor. Whether bedding for allergy-sufferers, an additional mattress topper, extra pillows, … there is hardly a wish about the hotel room that she cannot fulfill for our guests.
Almost unnoticed and yet indispensable – that is them, our cleaning fairies, who are out and about for you day after day.
Beauty no 3 manager Daniela Wurzenrainer
Daniela, owner of Beauty No3, personally attends to the beauty culture of our customers. From a personal consultation to a perfect massage and unique beauty treatments – the well-being of the guests is always the center of attention.
For Daniela, cosmetics & massage are more than just beauty care, they also are a matter of trust. And you can feel that. In every moment. In every hand movement. In every individually tailored, unique treatment.
Nothing is happening without them. Even if you hardly ever see them, they keep the entire operation running – the many helpers in the background.
Franziska, who has been with us for more than 20 years now heads the back office and is responsible for accounting, marketing, human resources and the presentation of the hotel.
Andre, our house technician, puts his heart and soul into making sure that everything always runs smoothly, from the most hidden systems to the front guest rooms.
Mike, our janitor, not only supports Andre in his work, but also makes sure that the luggage arrives safely in the guest rooms and is properly stowed in the car again.
